I have 20+ years in Event, Incentive, Meeting & Destination Management, 13 years of secondary teaching, mentoring and coaching and 8 years of non-profit development. I am confident that my extensive experience, innovative ideas, and commitment to excellence make me uniquely qualified to excel in a variety of roles. I am an ambitious, detail-obsessed Event Specialist who will design and deliver strategic group programs that generate pipelines, deepen customer relationships, and elevate your brand in the market.
Throughout my career, I have exhibited strong project management and client management skills, the ability to identify risks and develop creative solutions, and a deep understanding of planning interdependencies. I am also an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and I can effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects and events simultaneously. I also have recent hotel experience and restaurant experience.
Events
As the Owner and CEO of Destination New Orleans for 18 years, I won 12 HSMAI International Adrian Awards for excellence in creative event marketing, design, and production. I developed a diverse client base encompassing over 250 businesses and corporations, conceptualized, planned, and executed over 400 corporate events, designed and implemented more than 500 unique corporate tour programs.
Community
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong track record of developing strategic partnerships, maximizing revenue, and delivering unique client experiences. As the Executive Director and CPR/AED/BLS Instructor at Heartbeat NOLA, I have managed all functions of a non-profit organization, including fundraising, licensing, and certifications. I have also taught Hands-Only CPR and AED usage to hundreds of individuals, facilitating the rescue of three lives.
